DATEV delivery via TRAFFIQX
Delivery to DATEV e-invoice mailboxes via the TRAFFIQX network — planned Q1/2027. Until then the API creates the invoice file and you send it through your existing channel.
How your invoice gets to DATEV
Today the route runs up to the validated e-invoice. Handing it to the TRAFFIQX network and delivering it into the DATEV e-invoice mailbox are planned for Q1/2027.
- Today
Send invoice data
Your software sends the invoice data as JSON to invoice-api.xhub.
- Today
Generate and validate
invoice-api.xhub generates XRechnung or ZUGFeRD from it and validates the result against XSD and the format's Schematron (XRechnung: KoSIT).
- Planned Q1/2027
Into the TRAFFIQX outbox
Planned: the API hands the validated e-invoice to the outbox via the TRAFFIQX Invoice API.
- Planned Q1/2027
Into the recipient's mailbox
Planned: from there the invoice goes into the recipient's DATEV e-invoice mailbox. DATEV lists Peppol and email as further delivery channels of its platform.
What is the TRAFFIQX network?
TRAFFIQX is a network for exchanging e-invoices. DATEV describes itself, together with its subsidiary b4value.net, as part of this network.
According to DATEV, software connects to the network once via an API; the network then handles sending, receiving and validating the e-invoices. DATEV lists the TRAFFIQX and Peppol networks and email as delivery channels of the DATEV e-invoicing platform.
